| The maladjustment between economic development and urbanization of populationhas caused critical discrepancy between urban and rural areas in China. Existedresearches have concentrated in guidelines and theoretical analysis, lacking mathematicalanalysis. Counties are the pivotal part and major filed to boost rural-urban integration, especially those around mega-city. Rural-urban integration learning needs more attentionon counties and spatial factors. Spatial data analysis is presently still focusing oneconomic divergences rather than rural-urban integration.Firstly, we analyzed the current situations of rural-urban integration in countiesaround the capital and found there is still obvious dual-structure, Distribution and genesisof the dual structure must be analyzed, so as to raise some counter measures.Secondly, through the Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis (ESDA), we found that therural-urban integration in counties around the capital have strong spatial correlations, these relationships are not even distributed. It's affected by the distributions of botheconomic developments and population.Furthermore, Confirmatory Spatial Data Analysis (CSDA) further confirms thespatial correlations of rural-urban integration among capital rim counties. Differentlocations of these counties attribute much to the spatial correlations while the adjacencywith the capital do not means much. The key weakness of rural-urban integration amongthese counties is the low level of population urbanization. At last, based on previous spatial data analysis, we raised relevant countermeasuresto boost rural-urban integration in the region around the capital, including boosting theurbanization of rural population and industrial restructuring. Specialization andcooperation of counties are also needed. Adjustment of administrative divisions andcounty resources will also help boost the integration of rural and urban areas. |
