The Research On The Confirming Warehouse Risk Prevention Of Commercial Bank

Under the practical needs of the business risk caused by the international financial crisis and the transformation of the mode of the economic development, the commercial banks have dual purposes, which are strengthening their risk control and supporting the developments of the medium and small enterprises (SEMs). Pomoting the innovation of the financial product and the improvement of the technology of the supply chain makes the confirming warehouse business inevitable to the commercial banks. Therefore, how to comply with the development of the supply chain and the finance and how to prevent the business risk of the commercial banks effectively at the same time becomes a urgent problem to be solved for the confirming warehouse business.Based on the exisiting research findings, this paper uses the method of combining theory with practice and the method of combining the normative analysis and the positive analysis. Meanwhile, it also apply with the asymmetric information theory to analysis the credit risk of confirming warehouse business of commercial banks and make a positive analysis on the basis of the case of a branch of the Construction Bank. The results indicate four main problems which lead to the potential crisis of the commercial banks: firstly, the confirming warehouse business is in the beginning state in China; secondly, the risk prevention mechanism, especially the credit risk prevention mechanism, is imperfect; thirdly, we pay a lot of attention on the crisis control of core enterprises, but pay little to the upstream and downstream enterprises and the Third Partner Logistics (TPL); finally, we have little knowledge of the phenomenon of collusion in the business. The banks can operate in safety and promote the confirming warehouse business's healthy development by designing and consummating the risk prevention and control system.The main research idea of this paper is as follows: firstly, making a logic argument on perfecting the risk control system of the confirming warehouse business of our commercial banks from the theories angle, in the meanwhile, indicating the specific requirements of the risk control system of the confirming warehouse business of our commercial banks; secondly, making a positive analysis to the risk control system of the confirming warehouse business of our commercial banks. We will analysis concretely the digitals perfecting the risk control system should contain, which is of great practical importance to improve and strengthen the confirming warehouse risk system; lastly, we put forward the specific suggestions for consummating the confirming warehouse business risk control content system.
