Performance Analysis On Capital Market Investment Of Insurance Funds In China

In recent years, with the high-speed expansion of China's insurance business and the rapid growth of premium income, insurance funds are accumulating,the investment structure and investment income of insurance capital have gradually become one of the leading business management of insurance companies. However, the use of insurance funds, especially in the use of capital markets is still not perfect, Compared with developed countries, there was a certain gap such as the narrow investment channels, irrational investment structure and the low rate of investment income etc.Insurance funds go in capital market is decided by its liabilities, sources and nature. Insurance funds, especially the life insurance funds are long-term funds in a large portion, the long-term funding must seek to match with the long-term investment tools,The capital market can provide with different types and periods of investment tools for Insurance funds,accordingly to achieve the rational allocation of insurance funds and enhance its investment rate of return.In this paper,Reviewing the development history of the investment of our Insurance funds,and putting forward the necessity of Insurance funds go in capital market first of all;second, the status of our Insurance funds go in capital market is described,the unreasonable problems are pointed out and analysis of its causes;then make the empirical test between the investment rate of return of insurance funds and market growth rate of capital markets,draw the conclusions that the expansion of the market value of capital market is the reason of the enhance of investment returns for insurance funds.Finally,put forward the suggestions to improve the investment performance of insurance funds in our country.
