This thesis states the feasibility of constructing ZhuangHe dock by illustrating the forecast of cargo handling capacity cargo-handling capacity, analysis of Technical Feasibility, analysis of economic feasibility and environmental suitability.First of all, do the analysis of background, significance and necessity of the dock engineering construction. According to the analysis of Zhanghe city's economical development tendency, port development falls behind the provincial economy development. Zhuanghe port brings great potential to provincial economy and harbour traffic capacity cannot satisfy the development requirement of freightage, so constructing this dock is necessary. According to the natural condition and present auxiliary facilities'condition, and comprehensively consider Zhanghe dock's function layout, this project's location is reasonable.Secondly, this project makes-choices of general layout's blue print; wharf structure's blue print, bridge approach's blue print and cargo handling technology's blue print. The first general layout's blue print has many advantages, such as short dock's length, good investment, with out shifting berth to unload the ship and convenient work. The Wharf Structure adopts one from the two choices, oval-shaped caisson and square-shaped caisson. The project also chooses the best one from three bridge approach's blue prints. Besides, for the cargo handling technolog, it also makes the analysis and choices of dock's ship unloaders, the standard of dock's ship unloaders, stockers and transport machines.Last of all, this project makes analysis of economic feasibility, including financial evaluation and national economic evaluation. Do the Total cost estimate, analysis of profitability, repayment ability analysis and sensitivity analysis.
