Causes Of And Countermeasures To The Wider Gap Of The Residents Income Distribution In Our Country

Income distribution is the hot and difficult problem which is closely related to the self-interest of each member of the society. It becomes more and more important with the growing of income gap in our country. Nowadays, the development of the market economy in our country has reached to a plateau, and the social conflicts which centered on interest conflicts became more complicated. Under such circumstances, if the problems of income distribution can not be well solved, the social conflicts will be intensified and the sustainable development of the economy and a lengthy peaceful reign of the society will be endangered. Because of the aforementioned reasons, lots of researchers conducted intensive study on personal income gap of present stage from different levels and perspectives, and they put forward many valuable theories and proposals. However; based on the study of previous of study the author of this paper still found some problem deserving further study and discussion.Based on the analysis of the current situation of the income gap through lots of data, the paper summarized the achievement from home and abroad. Using the reasonable elements of theories in western economics, it also analyzed the policy, region, and industry factors which resulted in the income gap in our country. In this paper, the author believed that market factors was the general reasons for the income gap, and the biased policy and improper interference of the government were the special reason for it, especially the interference of the government. In the current period, intact, scientific and reasonable market adjusting mechanism hasn't formed in the income distribution.various factors intervened the formulation of the income distribution policy, which leaded to the ineffectiveness of the policy and complication of innovation of the income distribution. Based on the analysis of national circumstances, the author arrived at the detailed reasoned that leaded to the gap between the north and the south, the rural and the urban areas, different industries and regions through the detailed analysis of the Jiang Su Province. Thus, the pertinent proposals of the policy for the narrowing of the gap were listed.The conclusion of the paper is:the problem of income gap should be solved through the guidance of the market economy and the interference of the government policy. The aims and the principle of the income distribution adjustment of the government should be deeply analyzed. Through the perfecting of the various adjusting system and polices, the actual effect of the governmental adjustment in income distribution will be intensified. Finally, the income gap will be narrowed and the contribution to the economic development and social stability will be made.
