Research On The Performance Of University-Industry-Research Cooperation Based On K-A-S Theoretical Framework

Technological innovation is the inexhaustible motive force for sustainable development of regional economic, and it is also has a positive role in promoting the gathering of regional resource. With the rising of the knowledge economy in the global range, knowledge transfer and technology revolution is promoting the efficiency and performance of industrial innovation, which has become a national or regional focus issue. On this situation, the Industry-University-Research (IUR) cooperation becomes one of the main forms in knowledge economy age innovation with its advantages of sharing risk and benefit. To promote IUR cooperation integrates the respective advantage of enterprises, universities and research institutes, aggregates effectively regional resources and enhances the efficiency of innovation factors. The knowledge spillover, absorptive capacity of firms and the social capital are the key factors to the performance of the IUR cooperation, which also has important influence to the performance separately. Therefore, based on this three dimension to analysis the IUR cooperation, it has great significance for strengthening effective integration of regional resources, enhancing the regional innovation ability and promoting economic development to do quantitative research on the efficiency of IUR cooperation and find out the main influencing factors.This paper introduces the triple-helix theory, knowledge spillover theory and the absorptive capacity theory, then it analysis the basic elements of knowledge spillover, absorptive capacity, social capital and the innovation performance, and based upon which it builds the conceptual model of knowledge spillover, absorptive capacity, social capital and cooperation performance; analyzes the relationship among them and points out hypotheses; examines the conceptual model and hypotheses through empirical analysis; discusses the empirical result and point out the significance in theory and practice.This paper includes five parts. The first focus on the research background, purpose and significance, research status, research method and innovations; the second part is related to the review of relative theory, focus on the triple-helix theory, knowledge spillover theory and the absorptive capacity theory. Evaluates the contribution and shortage, based on this, summarizes the factors followed by; the third part mainly builds the conceptual model of knowledge spillover, absorptive capacity, social capital and cooperation performance, what's more, puts forward five hypotheses about the influence of knowledge spillover on cooperation performance; the influence of absorptive capacity on cooperation performance; the influence of knowledge spillover on absorptive capacity; the influence of social capital on knowledge spillover and absorptive capacity; the fourth part is examines the theoretical model and hypotheses through empirical analysis, using the AMOS and SPSS software; the last part is a discussion about the test results, which further makes it clear that out research is of great importance both in theory and practice, then proposed some advice and suggestion.
