Rhythm Of The Post Merger And Acquisition Integration In Chinese And Western Culture Background Based On Cases Study

With the development of M&A activities, the post-merger integration has begun to attract more and more attention. The success or failure to post merger and acquisition integration can decide whether the M&A business and the target company will be success or not. The mergers practice shows that rhythm of the post merger and acquisition integration as a key factor can determine the success or failure of mergers and acquisitions. As the major factors of human society, culture affects the various aspects of our social, including the post merger and acquisition integration activities after mergers and acquisitions. Followed these theories, this paper studies on different cases, including the case of Cisco, InBev, Lenovo Group and Wanxiang Group, to understand the background and the post-merger integration process, then focus on the impacts of culture background to the post merger and acquisition integration. The paper also described the experience on rhythm of post merger and acquisition integration control. Finally, this paper gives a brief summary on the cases study, and also gives a conclusion to the appropriate rhythm of post merger and acquisition integration in Chinese cultural.
