The Cost Control Study Based On ERP

With economic globalization, customer demand diversification and the development of information technology, the traditional cost control model has been unable to adapt to the development requirement of enterprises. The complex process and the diverse kinds make the cost control much more difficult, the enterprises cannot get the cost information of products in time so that reduce the competitive power. Take a view of the enterprises management trend of the domestic and overseas, the implementation of information system is uptrend. The modern enterprises need an excellent cost control system which covers all information of enterprise, shares the information with other systems and provide the timely and exact information to the enterprise.This paper introduced definition, development general situation of ERP and the cost control. By the compare of traditional cost control and cost control in ERP system, discuss the characteristic and strength of cost control in ERP system, and elaborate the cost control principle in ERP system.The main part of this paper elaborates the cost control in ERP system from the two aspects: systemic and process. Systematic mainly refers to advance plans, course control, after analysis; process concentrate on product design, procurement and inventory, production operation, cost accounting and different analysis, fully demonstrates the enterprises with ERP system can greatly reduce the cost, improve the production efficiency, improve the competitive power.The paper finally analyzes a case:A corporation implements ERP system to control cost, which proves that the cost control in ERP system is feasible and superior in practical life and provides a reference for other enterprises.
