In recent year, with the extension of urbanization, the contradiction between thehuman and the geological environment is increasingly sharp-pointed, and all kinds ofgeological disaster tends to be more serious because of excessive demand ofgeological resources, and people becoming knowing the key of social and economicdevelopment is defending and reducing geologic hazards. As a result, it is significantto carry out the research on evaluation of geological environmental quality andevaluation of suitability in constructional region, in order to ensure the security ofurban construction and of mankind lives and possession.The thesis has introduced the regional physical geography and geologicalenvironmental conditions of Jiangxi province, analyzed main control factorsinfluencing regional geo-environment synthetically. On the basis of summarizingpredecessors’ experience, take evaluation area divided into566cells and determinegeo-environment quality assessment index system with assessment factors geologichazards development density, topography and geomorphology, soil-type, intensity offault activity, annual rainfall, economic activities of human beings and hillside slope.And expert experience method and hierarchy analytic process has been applied to findthe weight of assessment indexes. According to the characteristic of assessment model,the thesis has adopted mainly expertise to quantify indexes.According to the characteristic of regional geo-environment quality assessment,the thesis has chosen fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model to assess the risk andcomprehensive risk of landslide, collapse, debris flow. And then the theory divisionresults compared with the actually development strength of geologic disasters. Duringthe evaluation, plot the risk zoning maps of kinds of disasters and comprehensivegeologic disasters based on the platform of MAPGIS6.7. The results show that thegeo-environment quality can be classified into five classes: severe disaster area,moderate disaster area, mild disaster area, slight disaster area, no disaster area. Itcould provide reference for the development utilization and protection of geologicalenvironment and preventing geological disaster of Jiangxi province.
