Triangulated Quotient Categories

Triangulated categories were used widely in recent researches in representationtheory. A notion of mutation of subcategories in a right triangulated category is definedin this paper. By using this mutation, the suitable quotient category carries a righttriangulated structure. Moreover, if the right triangulated category satisfies some otherconditions, then the right triangulated quotient category is also a triangulated category.This construction generalizes the known results on the quotient triangulated categoriesby Iyama-Yoshino and J rgenshen to right triangulated categories.
