The complex geological structure reservoir stratum modeling is one of the key issues ofreservoir stratum modeling. It is significant that its’ research results apply in exploring andmanaging an oil field. This paper uses computer graphics, computational geometry and other method to study onthe complex geological structure reservoir stratum modeling. In research on the interpolationmethod about the fault constraint, the paper uses an interpolation method based on the shortestpath under the fault constrained. And according to use a data partition algorithm for vastamounts of seismic data to improve the interpolation efficient. In fault modeling, a set ofstandardized fault lines was used to simulate faults, and then fault modeling methods weregiven by using different types of data. In horizon modeling, using the fault binding techniquesto create the horizon network, and the horizon trend extension method was used to identify thecorrect location of faults affect the horizon, after that the horizon model was built. The newideal of step-by-step to interpolate the horizon grid was put forward to establish the modelwhich has reverse faults. A method like the horizon modeling was used to deal with thestratigraphic sequence modeling of complex geological structure. Finally, on the basis of abovestudy, VC++6.0、OpenGLas tools, the experimental system was designed. It was shown that thepaper verifies the practicality and effectiveness of the above research results by using anexample of an oil field exploration data.
