| In this paper, we investigate several problems on p-groups of maximalclass. This paper consists of five chapters. Chapterâ… is an introduction.Chapterâ…¡gives a list of preliminaries. In chapterâ…¢, we classify 3-groupsof maximal class all of whose maximal subgroups are characteristic andgive all maximal subgroups of p-groups of maximal class which have anabelian subgroup of index p. In chapterâ…£, we search some properies on5-groups of maximal class with Magma. In chapterâ…¤, for some groups, wegive the ratio of the number of the highest order elements of a group tothe order of a group. |
