Reviewing the history of the relationship between man and nature, there are greatchanges in the relationship between man and nature from the period of primitivecivilization that man worshiped nature, the period of agricultural civilization that manadapted and used nature, and the period of industrial civilization that man conqueredand improved nature.Since the period of industrial civilization, populationexplosion, resource shortage, environment pollution and other aspects of the crisisdestroyed the relationship between man and nature, even the relationship between manand man.The important reasons for the crisis of the relationship between man andnature are the anthropocentricism, unreasonable mode of production and the life stylefull of luxuriousness and extravagancy. The modern philosophers reflected the crisis of the relationship between man andnature.Horkheimer and Adorno believed that the ideological roots of the crisis therelationship of man and nature is the Enlightenment spirit, and William Leiss thoughtthe idea of "Dominating Nature" is the ideological roots of the crisis.EcologicalMarxist André Gorz and John Bellamy Foster pointed out that the capitalist mode ofproduction and the profit motive caused he crisis of the relationship between man andnature.Frankfurt School and Heidegger believed that science and technology is animportant factor in the crisis. These reflection provided an important theoreticalenlightenment to transcend the crisis of the relationship between man and nature. The relationship between man and nature is the most basic of human survivaland development relationship.Since the period of industrial civilization, the rapiddevelopment of capitalist society to the level of material enriched and improvedstandards of living, changing the mode of production at the same time, human’slifestyle and way of thinking, leading to numerous conflicts between man and nature, causing the crisis of the relationship between man and nature. There isnecessary for us to reflect the crisis of the relationship between man and nature, toseek the possible to transcend the crisis of the relationship between man and nature, toreposition the ultimate value of human survival,to realize human beings’ sustainableexistence and the common interests of mankind. This article believed that there are two aspects to transcend the crisis of therelationship between man and nature. On the one hand, from the theory orientation, wemust change the unreasonable concept,to establish the right philosophical concepts ofhandling the crisis of the relationship between man and nature in the vision of "Quasi-philosophy" and "Development Ethics".Not only go out of the existing state ofself-enclosed monosubject,to get "Quasi-essentiality",to march to the Self-conscious"Quasi-existence",to form the way of "Quasi"thinking and the concept of "Quasi-philosophy",but also guide the concept of value by "Development Ethics" to correctlyknow the relationship between man and nature,to pursuit rational development, tomake a distinction between "can do" and "should do",to adhere to the values of theintergenerational justice. On the other hand, from the practical orientation,we mustchange unreasonable mode of production and the way of life, and optimize the modernsocial development model. Not only form Ecological Market Economy, replace thedevelopment model of unlimited economic growth by the economic developmentmodel of accordance with the ecological, unify the environment protection, optimizingthe ecology and improving the effectiveness, but also use the "depth of development"model of development to overcome the crisis of the relationship between man andnature, and rationally using of science and technology in order to pursuit endogenousspontaneous development.
