| The research region is in the eastern region of Alasa which belongs to NorthChina plate. The previous studies of Quaternary stratigraphy in this region islimited,and the age division is not reliable without dating data.So, the authorconducted a detailed field observations and indoor analysis of dating data.In this paper the sediments formed in Quaternary in the investigated region arestudied carefully in geomorphy,distribution,lithology,genesis and age and furthera relative integrated Quaternary strata system is constructed.The lower-Pleistocene ismainly pluvial and alluvium sediment,which formed second terrace,third terrace ortableland.The Middle-Pleistocene is mainly pluvialã€alluvium-pluvialã€pluvial-alluvium and lacustrine,which formed tablelandã€second terrace and alluvial fan andso on.The Upper-Pleistocene is mainly pluvialã€alluvium-pluvialã€pluvial-alluviumand lacustrine,which formed first terrace and second terrace and so on.The Holcene ismainly alluviumã€pluvial and lacustrine which formed floodplain and first terrace andso on. |
