The Research on Electron-positron pair production from photons had begun asearly as the period of the1930s when Quantum Mechanics just started. After atheoretical study of many physicists, the first observation of this process waspresented in1997. Most of these theories are on the basis of the Schwinger model, used to calculate the scattering cross section or to study the electron probability andthe energy threshold of the process. Ether qualitative analysis or numerical simulation. But there is no depth to explore the reason of pair production. Problem on photonmass has never been stagnant in the development of Electricity and Magnetism. It isgenerally believed that the photon has zero rest mass, but no exactly experimentallyconfirmed. We derive spin-1/2Maxwell equations of Electromagnet field frommassive Proca equation. Trying to explain creation of the spin in pair production.Firstly, we review the theoretical and experimental study on Electron-positron pairproduction from photons home and abroad. In the second part of, we discuss theadiabatic parameter in the Schwinger model, and then introduce the numericalsimulation under field theory as a representative of the theory and make a briefdescription of the possess in pure electromagnetic field at last. The third partdescribes the decomposition of the Proca equation and the Klein-Gordon equation. We derive the spin-1/2of the Maxwell equations analogously, and discuss the related representation of the Lorentz group. In the final part of this thesis, we make aconclusion and present some personal views on the origin of mass.In this thesis, α is the fine-structure constant, hc=1is adopted in formula inchapter3.The parameters indicated in bold in the formula represent the vector matrix.
