Contradiction between supply and demand of China’s mineral resources and orerequirements of China’s complex terrain, ground-airborne electromagnetic methodscame into being. Electrical-source of ground-airborne time domain electromagneticsystem has the advantage of large exploration deep, vertical resolution characteristics ofhigh wiring easy, field work, to meet the needs of resource exploration in China. Asits increasingly wide range of applications, electromagnetic data processing hasbecome a problem to be solved.Combined project supported by science and technology of Jilin Province " timedomain electromagnetic system receiver along Earth-space research on keytechnology of " actual scientific research, Earth-space electromagnetic time domainmethod based on knowledge of classical electromagnetic theory and existing law,main research contents are as follows:(1) The author was description the current state of electrical-sourceground-airborne electromagnetic method briefly, and proposed its concept,characteristics, application and development in the field of survey. The paper raisedelectrical source transient electromagnetic method concepts, features andapplications. Simultaneously, the author from the actual need to present the issuestudied in this paper.(2) Introduced the basic theory of TEM and elaborated on the characteristics ofthe structure; Derivation of the electrical grounded source response expression of theideal step pulse excitation of long conductors of uniform half space and layered earth;studied on calculation method of response, and provided several typical calculationsto verify the correctness of the algorithm of the Earth.(3) Detailed analysis of the electromagnetic characteristics of the measuredsignal and noise sources. For different noises, proposed a different de-noisingmethod, based on the analysis of de-noising algorithms. Finally, we show the resultsof measured data de-noising.(4) Takes the forward calculation examples into consideration, an approach to compute the all time apparent resistivity is adopted. During this computation,electromagnetic response received on the ground is regarded as being equivalent tothat received from the air. At last several typical electrical model of apparentresistivity-depth shows the algorithm runs good, the precision to meet therequirements to further verify the correctness and the feasibility of algorithms.(5) Introduced to the experiments of ground-airborne electromagnetic detectionsystems, and provides three experiments data processing, hydrological data alreadyknown, experiments achieved very good results.(6) Based on the de-noising and interpretation algorithm, for ease to useground-airborne electromagnetic data processing, this paper designed a simple andeasy to operate electric source electromagnetic data processing software by GUIDE,and published as an exe file that can be executed independently, supporting the useof and acquisition system.This paper completed the response calculation of the long wire source, whichprovided a theoretical basis for ground-airborne electromagnetic detectioninstrument design. At the same time, this article focuses on the de-noising andinterpretation algorithm of the real data. Finally, the algorithm form utility software,and with the electrical-source of ground-airborne time domain electromagneticsystem used to complete exploration tasks.
