| The traditional optimization tries to find out the optimal solution in optimization problems. Due to the large quantity of complex elements in the practical situation, it is difficult for us to find an accurate math model to describe the corresponding cases, and may be that there is no optimal solution in traditional concept. In such cases, a popular strategy is to choose a "satisfactory solution" instead of the "optimal solution".This paper introduces the basic method of satisfactory optimization, which consist of the procedure diagram, satisfaction, the basic definition of satisfaction and satisfactory solution, the forms of satisfactory function. Then by analyzing the form of the synthesis satisfactory rate function, we present the multi-criterion satisfactory optimization model,based upon fairness doctrine. In this model, the achieve of optimization of parameters by the optimization of comprehensive satisfaction evaluation function of performance indexes. Finally, after the brief introduction the operation flow chart and computing method of genetic algorithms, we analysis the superiority of it on solve optimization problems, and combine it with the multi-criterion satisfactory optimization.
