Group decision making is a very important part in the Decision Sciences. It has been widely applied in the project appraisal, the factory site selection, the investment decision, the program optimization and other fields. So, the study of group decision making theories and methods are extremely important and will exert great influence on practical use. In the actual decision-making process, decision makers’own knowledge structures、cognitive levels、and emotional factors、combined with the complexity and the uncertainty of the decision itself as well as the ambiguity of the decision-making environment would affect decision makers and make them fail to give a precise preference relations but interval numbers. Therefore, the group decision making of the form of the interval information is important for the practical application and is in need of theorization. It has become a hot issue nowadays. This thesis studies several aspects on the interval fuzzy preference relations as follows:1. This thesis introduces the theoretical basis of the group decision making, the algorithms of interval numbers, the OWA operator, the C-OWA operator.2. This thesis introduces definitions and natures of the Multiplicative preference relations, along with the compatibility of the Fuzzy preference relations and its nature.3. This thesis introduces the definition of the Interval Fuzzy preference relations and redefines the consistency of the interval fuzzy preference relations and the complete consistency of the interval fuzzy preference relations. Meanwhile, it also defines the compatibility index of the interval fuzzy preference relations and explores its nature and practical significance.4. Based on the property and significance of the interval fuzzy preference relations, this thesis constructs the group decision making optimized model of the interval fuzzy preference relations and demonstrate the case analysis.
