Based on the latest processing three-dimensional seismic data and guided by the theoriesof Sequence stratigraphy, studying for the Denglouku formation in the north of Xujiaweizidepression, making use of the rift and the surrounding outcrop, cores, well logs and relevantbackground information, the framework have been built, detailed research and analysis inorder to provide basic information for furthering oil and gas exploration.Making full use of the results of previous studies, the group of Denglouku was asuper-sequence.The top and bottom interfaces were super-sequence boundaries. Foursequences were recognized from bottom to top which are K1d1, K1d2, K1d3, K1d4.Thesethird-order sequences were in line with the classic sequence stratigraphy model by Vail. Onthis basis, by means of seismic profiles single well layer calibration and associated wellsstratigraphic classification and tracking, the stratigraphic framework of Denglouku group instudied area was built.Based on the results of the Sequence stratigrathy research, through the isochronousstratigraphic framework, the sedimentary characteristics of sequence stratigrathydistribution was understood in studied area,The dominant phase in K1d1formation werealluvial fan, delta,In K1d2were lake flood plain, braided river and meandering river,In K1d3were flood plain, sandy braided river and braided river delta. In K1d4were flood plain, sandybraided river and meandering river. Through the precision study of sedimentary facies, analyzed the characteristics of sedimentary evolution and was built the Denglouku formationsedimentary facies model in the north of the Xujiaweizi depression.Comprehensive analysis of the structure and sequence sedimentary characteristics, makeanalysis and forcast combination of reservoir and lithologic traps. According to thecharacteristics of the reservoir, Denglouku formation were divided into two sets. Combinedwith the analysis of petroleum geology, in the first and second reservoir, one favorableexploration zone were predicted at each of the combination of reservoir set.
