Research On Fine Reservoir Description Technology Of Tongbomiao Formation In Southern Tamsag Oilfield

Along with the further progression of oil&gas field exploration&development in the whole world, sequence stratigraphy, sedimentary facies and reservoir quality, together with well logging response characteristics, the basis of reservoir description technology, have become more and more important research directions of technology development in oilfields. The practice of oilfield exploration and development shows that sand bodies formed in different geological conditions is characterized by different reservoir characteristics and exploration&development features, furthermore sedimentary reservoir research and well logging evaluation are significant in revealing favorable reservoir distribution patterns, reservoir heterogeneity and predicating sand body spatial distribution.The southern Tamsag oilfield is characterized by complicated geological structure, fully developed faults, proximal fan delta deposits, poor reservoir property, tuffaceous glutenite reservoir, strong water sensitivity, strong heterogeneity and large strata dip, which cause difficulties in stratigraphic correlation, reservoir evaluation, well logging identification and oil-water interface identification in different faults in oilfield exploration and development. In this paper, we make further study in stratigraphic sequence correlation, sedimentary system analysis, reservoir quality evaluations and well logging identification, finish the research on stratigraphic correlation of TⅠ and TⅡ of Tongbomiao formation in southern Tamsag oilfield, and obtain a method of fine stratigraphic correlation suitable for the reservoir characteristics of Tamsag basin. Based on analyzing sedimentary environment, source direction and distribution of sedimentary facies in Tongbomiao formation of southern Tamsag oilfield, we define the main types of sedimentary system and distribution of favorable reservoir facies belt. On the basis of studying reservoir physical property and heterogeneity in Tongbomiao formation, we establish a logging identification method of oil-gas-water layers in Tongbomiao formation. All these research results provide detailed and reliable geology information for the development and production in Tamsag oilfield.
