The Evolution Of Aksu Oases And Its Development Degree

The Tarim river is not only of great importance for the development of oasises in thenorthwest arid area, but also a sensitive rigin of ecological environment change and biodiversityconservation. This paper has discussed landscape pattern change of Aksu oasises in the year of1990-2008, applying the method of landscape ecologyand combining with the “3S”technique,with three remote sensing images’ data, the main conclusion is following:During the latest twenty years, the main change trend is the increasing of the cultivated landarea;The grass、forest and water area is reducing year by year.Sand and naked land andsaline-alkali land have no significant changes.Each type specific changes are studied by makinguse of the landscape mapping model and transfer matrix,and found that cultivated land areaexpanded is the major direction of changes in the study area. The most conversion occurs betweenother land types and the cultivated land. The single dynamic degree shows landscape pattern varysin the way of different types of speed in different periods, By the landscape mapping model, it isobviousely discovered that conversion of the grass land and farm land is more frequent, the turnarea of number is the largest.The naked land is changing into saline-alkali soil;nevertheless,salinization and desertification are not relatively serious, the increasing trend should be should notbe ignored. Calculation of the landscape indexs make clear that landscape diversity and evennessrose slightly during the time of1990~2002, and then declined in the time of2002~2008,theadvantage degree shift oppositely.,the fragmentation of the landscape is straight increasing.Landscape patterns of distribution and change are taked shape by human’s actions in nature, thestability of the whole oasis is interfered by hunman’s conduct.Through the development degreeanalysis that the oasis develop more mature in the year of2002-2008.Finally, this dissertationoffers some advices on the construction of the the natural oases and artificial oases to realize theregional ecological environment and the coordinated development of the social economy.
