GPS is the main technical research means of the study of surface deformation, which hashigh precision, flexible observation form, unified reference, etc. Traditional GPS deformationmonitoring mainly used for the surface static frequency mode, usually in24hours to estimate thecoordinates of stations unit, satellite orbits, troposphere delay parameter, etc. On the basis of itssolution, through the Kalman filter, get week solution or month solution. To the benchmark, itssolution by flabby datum transformation can get a frame of reference (such as ITRF) of3Dcoordinate with time sequence. The traditional data processing method has the very vitalsignificance for accurate positioning, maintain regional network reference frame, determine thelong-term tectonic movement rate. But its ageing is poor, can’t play a real-time or quasi-real-timemonitoring role.In recent years, with the increasing of ageing demand of positioning service and theappearing of high rate GPS receiver, technology of high rate GPS data processing become theresearch focus. Early of the study, high rate GPS data usually was processed to get stationscoordinate of every epoch. This model depends heavily on the releasing of the precise satelliteorbit, but precise satellite orbit is usually released with a time delay of12to18days, whichimpact the efficiency of the data processing. The quasi-real-time processing of high rate GPS data has good application prospect andpotential, which is important to dynamic monitoring of surface deformation. In general, with the foundation of Bernese5.0and understanding the basic functions andstructure of this software and dynamic processing practices of high rate data, the author deeplylearned and researched the stochastic model, troposphere delay and multipath effect of GPSobservation and processing method of high rate data, single epoch, precise point positioning (PPP),and carried out the following research: introducing the present situation and research significanceof high rate GPS, global navigation satellite system; learning the processing principle and methodof high rate GNSS data; designing and conducting the test of dynamic monitoring of surfacedeformation, practiseing the processing and analysis of high-rate GPS data, take the Wenchuanearthquake for example.
