| With the global economic and social development,the world especially of the developing countries is developing rapidly,which has brought enormous material.At the same time,the rapid development of urbanization had brought social problems such as city population densely, traffic congestion,environmental pollution,resource shortage deterioration of the ecological.The quantitative analysis of landscape evolution and variation in urbanization development process and revealing human activities on the landscape pattern change have important significance in landscape pattern optimization and sustainable development of resources.Taking Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Metroplan Areas as a case study area, this paper studied landscape pattern change and landscape expansion space model in urbanization process. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) The gradient analysis of landscape patternLandscape metrics combined with gradient analysis,and transition matrix and gradient analysis were employed to analyze the spatial change of landscape pattern,based upon the land-use datasets. The results show thatâ‘ onstruction land is in the absolute superiority.Landscape patchs are concentrated and shapes are regular.The second is farmland.The connecctivity and integrity are better than other landscape,but the landscape shapes are more complex.The area of woodland is large,but the damage is serious.â‘¡ith the development of urbanization,landscape fragmentation degree is higher and higher.Landscape shapes are more and more complex.Landscape heterogeneity degree decreased firstly and then increased.The landscape diversity increased firstly and then decreased.Artificial landscape continues to increase and natural landscape continues to decrease, based upon transition matrix.â‘¢By comparison, the mobile window that the radius is0.5km may be more appropriate for landscapes pattern analysis.â‘£In the class level,different types of landscape in the belt changed vary,and in different years landscape characteristics are also different. In the landscape leve, good connectedness is appeared in the center of the city.The suburb of the city is the junctional zone of the residential,woodland and farmland.(2)Urban landscape expansion mode analysisIn this paper the changes of urban landscape from1993to2006in the core area of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan metroplan areas is quantified using landscape expasion index (LEI). The results indicat:â‘ The proportion of urban expansion area in outlying model is22.38%,30.26%,13.74%,18.68%respectively, that of in edge-expansion model is60.60%,52.42%,66.83%,63.69%and in infilling model is17.02%,17.32%,19.43%,17.63%respectively from1993to2006. Which shows that after a messy dispersed primary development phase urban development is more compact and reasonable layout.â‘¡the urban expasion appear mainly edge-expansion model from1993to2006in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan metroplan areas. However, there are different unban expansion models in four different periods.â‘¢The average plaque expansion index and area weighted average plaque expansion index of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan metroplan areas shows ascendant trend,which rises to34.72and30.59respectively.This means that urban landscape expansion tends to be more compac.â‘£A rapid development of urbanization leads to land used for construction increasing and the investment of urban construction expanding ceaselessly. Rapid development of urbanization is an important reason for urban landscape expansion. Another important reason is industrialization development, especially a quick development when Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan metroplan areas went into "Two Type" society. The proportion of secondary industry is47%, which is3.5%higher than the provincial average. |
