Scientific And Technological Needs And Policy Research On The Construction Of Ecological Civilization

Ecological civilization is a stage of social development，which presents the higher statusof human civilization，it is also a product of people’s rational reflection of today’s ecologicalenvironment and ecological construction and it has certain social attributes and reflects thedistinctive characteristics of human progress and civilization. Therefore，how to buildecological civilization，how to build ecological civilization well and what requirements inscience and technology for construction of ecological civilization needs more studying，thinking，analyzing and implementing.First，this paper integrates the current theory and the research results of domestic andforeign scholars to elaborate on the concept of ecological civilization and ecologicalcivilization construction. Then the ecological theories of civilization and ecologicalcivilization are explained，positioned and discoursed. Secondly,by combining of ecologicalcivilization construction and related issues in the present situation in China and the urgency ofthis aspect this paper analysis the reasons of the existence of such problems, and then posesthe way to solve ecological problems so as to extract fundamental point from the developmentof science and technology to solve our ecological problems. Finally, on the problems ofChina’s ecological civilization construction and current situations, it discusses the technologyneeds in the construction of ecological civilization, and compares and studies the relevantecological policy, thus it proposes a series of suggestions and views.Policy on the ecological civilization construction has very important practicalsignificance. Along with the development pace of China’s12th Five-Year Plan, ecologicalcivilization must become an important criteria for the country’s economic and socialdevelopment and the construction of ecological civilization will also become the frontierfields of scientific research, the reality that the technology needs of construction of ecologicalcivilization will become the scholars’ hot topic to explore as well. China’s construction ofecological civilization is the construction of ecological civilization in today’s world of peaceand development environment which is built on the basis of China’s national conditions,which is under the correct leadership of the Communist Party of China, which is guided bythe theory of harmonious and well-off society and which is under the guidance ofcomprehensively promoting China’s12th five-Year Plan and the scientific concept ofdevelopment. In the process of construction of ecological civilization, we need to integratetheory with practice, study extensively and learn from foreign advanced researchachievements and experience, thereby, we can form a rational system to construct thescientific socialist ecological civilization with Chinese characteristics, we can co-ordinate and vigorously promote and guide practice in order to make China’s ecological civilizationconstruction into a ecological civilization of harmonious and progressive development, so asto promote the full harmony and free development of the entire human race.
