Northwest Jiaodong gold concentration area is one of the most important gold concentration areas in our country. This paper mainly uses the theories and methods of tectonic geology and tectonogeochemistry to study the nature of ore-controlling faults and tectonogeochemistry anomaly based on typical gold deposits Dayingezhuang, Xiadian, Hedong and Huangbuling. The mass analysis and joints statistics shows that the formation and evolution of the main ore hosting structures went through two stages: left-lateral stage and expansion stage. The partly enrichment of mineralization and ore-body lateral trending was obviously controlled by the nature of ore-controlling faults and the spatial relationship of passable structures and ore hosting structures. The tectonogeochemistry measurement in Dayingezhuang, Hedong gold mine shows that the spatial structure of tectonogeochemistry halos in different survey areas seems complex and changeable. We use multivariate mathematical statistical methods to find the best combination of elements, then delimit the prediction target taking the anomaly of combination of elements as well as the size, strength of the anomaly into consideration.Based on the overall analysis of the the metallogenic geodynamic background, source of ore, the thermodynamic condition and the ore-controlling faults condition in Northwest Jiaodong, we make the point about the mineralization system related to hydrothermal convection, summarize the mechanism of the formation of tectonogeochemistry halos and put forward three representative tectonogeochemistry anomaly modes: single peak mode, symmetrical bimodal mode and asymmetrical bimodal mode.
