Ulu Sokor deposit is located in the north part of central mineralization belt, where regional metamorphism is widespread. REE element analysis show original rock for crystal tuff is a mixture of continental basalt, sedimentary calcareous and argillaceous component, while a mixture of sedimentary calcareous, argillaceous component for phyllite. Trace elements have been analyzed in crystal tuff and continental tholeiite genesis for crystal tuff was indicated.Mineralization occurs in dolomitic limestone, phyllite, crystal tuff. Pyrite, galena, sphalarite, marmatite and gold are common minerals with replacement, filling-replacement structures. Some special textures, like vesicular structure, sheeted structure, banded structure, can affect IP anomaly. The exploration effectiveness has been evaluated based on the typical cross-section, IP Sounding and drilling material. High resistivity and polarizability anomaly is a good sign of underground orebody. Gold orebody possibly exist where high resistivity(>2000Ω·w) and high polarizability(>4.5%) occurs. And the higher, the bigger the orebody will be. The turning point on the anomaly contour map is where the orebody becomes thick. Some other factors, such as ground pollution, weather, precipitation, topography can affect polarization results to some extent. The200m-wide high resistiviey and chargeability vein north-west can be a gold vein.
