Shan1zone is the major productive reservoir of Su6well area in Sulige gas field, the geological condition of which is very complicated, large-area distribution of sand body, non-uniform distribution of effective sand. Reservoir anisotropy is serious, the continuity and connectivity of effective sand is bad, and the distribution of sand body is strip-shaped or isolate-shaped.Based on exploration data, the tectonic and stratigraphic features of target area.Shan1reservoirs can be divided according to the basis principles of sequence stratigraphy. Moreover, the facies character of whole target area is described in plane and section via core and logging data, the overall condition of reservoir is obtained via the value and distribution of every parameter. Finally, the target formation is three-dimensionally described by using geological modeling technology which combines determinable modeling technology and stochastic modeling technology.Based on previous research results and gas reservoir description technology, according to the relevant data of225wells in Su6well area, following conclusions can be obtained: Shan1zone overall structure flat, with local micro-uplift; Shan1formation develops meandering river deposition, and can be divides into three layers; channel sand body develops well in three layers, and the effective sand body of shanl2is the best of all; the physical property distribution of reservoir is dominated by sedimentary microfacies, the physical property of beach deposition and channel lag deposition is relatively better, which forms effective reservoir; the physical property of flood plain deposit is bad, which forms ineffectively reservoir; moreover, shanl formation is pore-type reservoir, porosity plays an important role in permeability distribution. Structural model, facies model and attribute model have been established through the applications of petrel modeling software.
