Landslide is one of the highest frequency of various kinds of geological disasters, thebiggest loss of the type of disaster, Theywill seriouslydamages peoples’lives andproperties,will cause serious loses once sliding. Gansu province is the most serious suffering landslidedisaster in the world. Especially, landslide disaster is more aggravating trend in recent decades.So research landslide is particularly important in the region.In this paper, Suo’ertou landslide is research object based on the field geological surveyand monitoring, statistical data. More comprehensive study of the topography, geologicalstructure, hydro-geological condition and meteorological characteristics in this area. Thelandslide scale, the unique characteristics of deformation and failure of the division of theelements of landslide system made sufficient analysis, and on the basis of all the factors toinfluence the landslide is analyzed, emphasis on the research of deformation and failure oflandslide control the main factor, analyzes the cause of formation and landslide mechanism ofdeformation and destruction in the after, finally engineering geology analysis and limitequilibrium method and numerical analysis are combined to evaluate the steady-state of thelandslide various areas in different working conditions. And from this I had determined thelandslide government scope; proposed the reasonable project measure to the landslide.Suo’ertou landslide is huge landslide controlled by fault zone. The feature of its shape isunusually complicated; and its cracks and various areas demonstrates this landslide is inslowly creep stages and local areas in characteristics of strong deformation and failure.Formation mechanism of the landslide is very intricate and the mode ofevolvement mechanismowns multiformity. By using numerical simulation software through numerical calculation,Thus a more comprehensive understanding of the objective of landslide stress field anddisplacement distribution and deformation damage characteristics. engineering geology analysisand limit equilibrium method and numerical analysis are combined to evaluate the steady-stateof the landslide various areas in different working conditions. And from this I haddetermined the landslide government scope; proposed the reasonable project measureto the landslide.This paper selected values c and Φ and landslide water-saturated state of these factors on the stability of a sensitivity analysis, landslide water-saturatedstate values obtained on the stability of landslide look pass the greatest impact.Finally, the corresponding the landslide treatments and measures have advanced on thebasis of the characteristics of deformation and failure and formation mechanism and the resultof stability comment, which provide the reference value and comprehensive research forreconstruction and the surrounding mountains landslide control project...
