The research on water resources was more at home and abroad, but substa-ntially different from the eco-water (layer). Many researchers estimate soil moi‐sture using remote sensing imaging mechanism of the thermal inertia, establis‐hing NIR‐red soil moisture spectrum space to estimate soil moisture, Using NO-AA/AVHRR data to estimatesoil moisture,Using ASAR image data to estimates-oil moisture,Achieved some success by using the measured spectral data to est-imate soil moisture and so.Using conventional soil moisture measurement m-ethods are slow, limited in scope and can not quickly obtain the soil moisturecontent,To extract soil moisture content quickly by image Mainly used in agric-ulture range,The study of soil moisture content in Vegetation coverage area isless,And this part of soil moisture plays an important role in adjusting the su-rface and groundwater recharge,Maintaining the trees survival. Using the meas-ured spectral data to establish the relationship between soil moisture content andthe spectral,Selecting the sensitive bands in study area, fitting the Sensitive ba-nd of TM image. The study of Inversion of soil moisture based on the relationshipbetween soil moisture and sensitive band in study area alomost no.This article chooses the upper Minjiang River as a study area,on the ba-sis of the study of eco-water of Yang Wunian professor.Using high-tech meansof remote sense and GIS. extracting the soil moisture content as the researchobject from eco-water information index parameters,Inverting the soil moisturecontent in study area,Using this method to invert soil moisture in upper Minji-ang River,Comprehensive analysis of Minjiang river water has important acade- mic significance and practical value. the contents、methods and achievements ofthis paper are as follows:1)Based on the previous establishment of eco-water (layer) index parameterSystem, Designing the field soil measurement experiment for different soil ty-Pes,using the ASD Field Spec Pro FR to obtain soil spectral reflectance,Collec-te soil samples of different soil types,Establishing the ecological water (layer)information index in study area and inverting soil moisture.2)According to the relationship between soil moisture and the band, Choosing the sensitive bands of each spectral mathematical transformation in study a-rea,using the multiple stepwise statistical methods, choosing the biggest correlati-on coefficient bands from sensitive bands, fitting the Sensitive band of TM i-mage in study area, and then Quantitativing inversion of the soil moisture cont-ent in study area by the choice of model. Studies show that the reciprocal ofthe reflectance transform、the first derivative of reciprocal of reflectance and t-he first derivative of logarithm of reflectance meet the requirements. In this p-aper,inverting the soil moisture content in study area by the first derivative ofreciprocal of reflectance and the first derivative of logarithm of reflectance.Theprecision of the reciprocal of the reflectance was highest, The correlation coe-fficient was0.866349and The final choice of regression model wereY=0.2346+0.0050x584‐0.0305x1055+0.0199x1831 Y=0.20605‐0.78472x673‐1.29663x22573)Using2,3,4,5, and7five band of satellite TM data to fit the reflect-ivity of the sensitive band at the reciprocal of the reflectance transform and t-he first derivative of reciprocal of reflectance, Quantitativing inversion of thesoil moisture content in study area by the choice of model. Inversion resultsshow that the soil moisture content was concentrated in about40%andabund‐ant in Maoergai distric.
