On this basis, the scheme comparison for the design of landslide control engineering was made, and such measures as anchor cable frame and anti-slide pile were mainly taken. The main achievements and understanding acquired are as follows:(1) The GaoTangGuan landslide is a loose deposit landslide(some part of slip surfaces were in the inner of the overburden) and the waste slag fill(that is mass rock or gravel soil) and the sedentary silty clay slid along the interface between the overburden and bedrock (that is carbon mudstone the sand-shale) when the airport was being built. The formation and evolution of the landslide is mainly due to the joint influence of the loading of the waste slag, the control over slide of the overburden-bedrock interface, the groundwater to soften the slip soil and the inducement of the rainstorm. The comprehensive analysis showed its destructive pattern was creep-cracking and tractional according to its material composition, obvious deformation failure evidence and inducement, etc.(2) With the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method of combining the GaoTang view of landslide and its subprime landslide stability analysis evaluation.
