Geochemical exploration techniques of oil-gas were applied for the research of vertical micro-effusion and surface anomaly of hydrocarbons in oil-gas area of Xifeng, Erduoshi Basin. Conclusions presented in this study can be summarized as follows:(1) Based on the pre-existing geochemical exploration data in Erduoshi, it was presented that acidolysis hydrocarbon, headspace gas chromatography and fluorimetry are effective geochemical analysis and detection methods for the geochemical exploration of oil-gas in Xifeng area.(2) By using data statistic methods such as probabilistic statistical analysis combining the cognition of petroleum geology in exploration area and the effective response of oil-gas geochemical exploration indexes to oil-gas reservoir, it were pointed out that SCI, SC2+indexes in the forth profile and hydrocarbons indexes such as DC1, F405, F360, F320are the primarily effective geochemical exploration indexes for this district, and SiC4/nC4, SC2+/SC1are secondary. All these indexes have good response to oil-gas reservoir under ground.(3) The application effects of oil-gas geochemical exploration of the forth profile were superior to the first, second and third profiles. The length of geochemical exploration profile and the arrangement of dot pitch for sampling will directly influence the application effects of geochemical exploration. It is optimum for a250m dot pitch used for this district.
