Laser communication technology has a high speed data communication, large capacity, safe and secret transmission etc, now it has become the most potential of the technology in the wireless communication field. In this century, China put the space laser communications technology as the focus of the future development direction in space, due to the space laser communication need information exchange and transmission between the space platform and the ground platform, in the process of laser communication, the atmospheric turbulence influence extreme seriously, in the urgent need to study the laser space transmission characteristics under the atmospheric turbulence influence. And in the out-field laser communication experiments, the project demand a high standard of the environment, large human consumption, and much uncertain factors such as defect. Therefore, under background of the strong demand and the common technical support, we designed the indoor laser atmospheric turbulence simulation device. At the same time, in order to get the accurate simulation turbulence, designed the turbulent simulation device control-system.This paper analyzes and summarizes the indoor atmospheric turbulence simulation device development present situation at home and abroad, and research between the parallel plate convection riley-Bernard turbulent system theory, based on the theory and design the indoor atmospheric turbulence simulation device. In order to improve the control performance of the simulator, research and design with Smith estimate fuzzy PID control as the core of the system control technology, restrain the atmospheric turbulence simulation equipment control of robustness, thermal hysteresis and large inertia and influencing factors. Application of c++program design of the corresponding technical development and data simulation analysis, software with VC++the atmospheric turbulence simulation software platform and the control device experimental data collection and analysis software platform. Finally, design the indoor atmospheric turbulence simulation equipment control performance parameters validation experiment scheme, draw the part, and the experiment results and theoretical model is validated contrast analysis, and to verify the indoor atmospheric turbulence simulation equipment control the reliability of the technique.
