The snow is part of the Earth’s hydrosphere and it is an important factor to inflectthe global climate. Because of the snow as a natural factors of the most active surfaceand with multiple attributes, concerned and attentioned by many scientists, the areas ofglobal and continental scales, a wide range of snow impact of climate change, thesurface radiation balance and energy exchange, water use of resources; local andwatershed areas, the snow affect the weather, industry and agriculture, and life with aseries of elements related to human activities in water resources, environment, coldregions engineering.The Du Shanzi~Kuche line of the National highway217line which also calledthe tianshan road.It is crosses the tianshan mountain and is an important traffic lines toconnect the south and the north of xinjiang autonomous regiont. Along the roadsavalanche, the wind of the snow occur frequently, serious influenting highwayunblocked and threatening the residents’ safety of life and property.This paper derived from the project "Tianshan road in national highway217linealone-library road snow against evaluation decision system" which cooperate withXinjiang Highway Planning Survey and Design Institute.This paper research mainly divided into the following four aspects:1)Use the download data of MODIS10A2, through the projection transformation,splice, cutting to extraction in the snow coverage information.2) To anaylsis the snow depth and MODIS1B level1to7band’s reflectance,anduse the suitable level to make the modle for the snow depth inversion.3) In order to deal the roads in snow against and characteristics of the disaster, byusing GIS technique combining with analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and evaluationmodel of avalanche respectively snow risk, we can comprehensive reveals the disasterfeatures of the whole area around the roads. 4) Use the hybrid program mode, use Microsoft Visual Studio2008(C#) call ArcGISEngine9.3development assembly, complete the" Tianshan road in national highway217line alone-library road snow against evaluation decision system”...
