With the enhanced exploration and development of oilfield, in order to find morefavorable hydrocarbon accumulation zone, or increase productivity, reservoir analysisis needed. After several years’ exploration and development, it has been highly matureexploration step in Liaohe oilfield, especially; litho logic hydrocarbon reservoir hasbeen the main exploration direction.By collecting abundant primary information of drilling and well logging, seismicand geology. We demarcated the core and imagining information and using them tofind out the different reaction characters of rock composition, frame, sedimentarystructure and fluid characters.The logging information is one important information of oil and gas exploratoryand development. It’s the reflection of facies character and its facies characteranalysis are based on geologic analysis. It has definite geology meanings only throughgeology calibrating. The paper has formed a new type of method on logging faciesanalysis by abstract some parameters from log curve which reflect faciescharacteristics, and neural network identifieation study.Microfaeies study is an important part of reservoir description, both in theexploration phase or stage in the development must be carried out reservoirsedimentary microfacies analysis. Besacause of the limited eoring data, logging datain the study of sedimentary microfacies play a important part. Traditional method isqualitatived, the result is large personal influence. With the development of logsubject and computer technology, logging facies quantitative automatic identificationgradually popular, as now is an important content in modern sedimentary study. Inthis paper, based on microfacies research contents and requirements, starting from theactual data of the field to determine a reasonable technology routes on the microfaciesresearch.The union application of well logging and seismic is principal means in theprediction of reservoirs. We can get high vertical resolution by using loggingconstraint inversion. The quasi-acoustic log of LLD log(SP log, Gamma log, etc), which is in accordance with lighology, are used in inversion, ideal effects have beenobtained in identifying the distribution and the thickness of reservoir and can resolvesome problems like identifying lithologic character, differentiating thin layers, etc.Reservoir prediction under the constraint of sediment phase is proposed from the viewof combination of geology, geophysics in order to improve the accuracy of reservoirprediction.In the paper, the spatial distribution and thickness variation of sand body in targetgroup is evaluated. Analyse the regular pattern of oil accumulate and predict threepotential area.
