TheChang’e-2satellite CCD stereo camera spatial resolution as high as7meters, the use ofstereo images that can generate high-resolution lunar DEM to build on the follow-upmission to the moon and the digital platform of the moon is of great significance.Therefore, this article revolves around how to use the Chang’e-2CCD stereo image datato extract the lunar surface DEM carried out a systematic theoretical analysis andproven.The article has deliberately researched the CCD stereo camera imaging principleand the image data storage forma of the Chang’e-2satellite.Based on the particularity of the characteristics of the Chang’e-2image data andthe lunar remote sensing, this research clear pointed two difficulties which need toposition the images of three-dimensional positioning and image matching, which is theprerequisite of catching the lunar surface DEM. To solve the three-dimensionalpositioning of the Chang’e-2CCD image (the exterior orientation elements), the papersystematically studied the working principle of the linear CCD image and the two maintypes of sensor model——the physical sensor model and the generic sensor model. Byanalyzing the rational function model which principle and characteristics of the sensorparameters independent of the exterior orientation element solver model, and learnfrom other high-resolution commercial satellite equipped with a linear CCD stereocamera image positioning, proposed the stereotactic method of the Chang’e-2CCDimage based on the rational function model. In the case of that have no satellite orbitparameters, which successful solution forget the Chang’e-2satellite CCD imageelements of exterior orientation by the lunar surface control point. Lunar image texturefeatures is not obvious, and the image gray light impact there are obvious differences,the traditional Chang’e-2images of three-dimensional gray-scale-based imagematching method to match results to match is difficult to get reliable this article-the SIFT algorithm based on feature matching algorithm for lunar surfacethree-dimensional image matching, and the programming and analysis of results showthat this method is an effective three-dimensional images of the lunar surface matchingmethod. Finally, the article based on the terrain analysis module of ENVI software forthe platform, the part of the image of the lunar polar region as the experimental data,have done the region DEM extraction work.The innovation of this paper:(1)Finally, this paper proposed a Chang’e-2CCD image stereotactic methodwhich based on a rational function mode. Chang’e-1laser height data and the Chang’e-2CCD image control point data is the method of combining, and use the method tocalculate the control points of the lunar surface.(2)This paperproposedamatchingalgorithm usingthe SIFTalgorithm to solvethe remote sensing images of the lunar surface. Achieved a match between the differentperspectives of the Chang’e-2to obtain the linear CCD image and the same pointautomatic batch generate, ensured the accuracy of extracted lunar DEM, and improvedthe work efficiency.
