In this paper, at home and abroad reservoir description study theory, on the basis ofthe results of previous studies, based on reservoir characteristics, log interpretation,reservoir physical properties and reservoir development dynamics data and ect. By thecontrast of the marker beds of sedimentary microfacies and distribution characteristicsof the sand body, According to Chang6reservoir sandstone cores in Chai44Chaiyaoarea of Xiasiwan oilfield, well logs and other information collection, collation,correction and analysis, research " relationship among the four characters ".Through the key wells and standard layer to determine the acoustic timestandardization, standardization of the resistivity curve, and natural gamma scaleconversion log curve by standardization, to establish the formation parametersparameters log interpretation model; combination of reservoir stratification factor, anddistribution characteristics interbeds penetration rhythmic variation, and the reservoirparameter plane distribution characteristics of parameter evaluation of reservoirheterogeneity; then reservoir classification and evaluation to determine the reservoirtype specially permeability, high water cut stage ultra-low permeability flexible-solution gas drive sandstone reservoir. Combination with sedimentary petrology,petroleum geology, reservoir development geology and reservoir engineeringdisciplines, a comprehensive analysis, together with the remaining oil distribution of avariety of advanced analytical testing methods.The study area since the mid-1980s’began to invest, then in2005start intolarge-scale development stage. With the commissioning continuous production wellsto go into production, reservoir development in the gradual exposure of a reservoirhas been the formation of elastic energy development, formation pressure decreased rapidly. Well production is higher when development in early of day, as thedevelopment gradually, the production had decreased rapidly, and the moisturecontent continuously improve the reservoir at the stage the moisture content isgenerally more than95%. Therefore, in the need of reservoir production is low, thehigh moisture content and well network is imperfect, so the author study these issuesin the paper.In the paper, according to the development status of the study area, the distributionof residual oil at the stage for the later adjustment of reservoir development ready.Through the reservoir geological features and reservoir parameters characteristics andthe characteristics of the development law. By Reservoir stratigraphic division andcorrelation, reservoir structural characteristics, characteristics of reservoir fractures,sedimentary facies and sand body distribution of reservoir sexual relations, loginterpretation model reservoir minimum standards to determine the reservoirheterogeneity and reservoir classification and evaluation, to create the establishmentof three-dimensional geological model, furthermore in the numerical reservoirsimulation, history matching and Remaining Oil Distribution. By the way of theremaining oil distribution features, obtain results of favorable region of the remainingoil development.
