The piezoelectric material has been widely used in the new intelligent materials.Dynamics of the piezoelectric material with all kinds of defects, such as cracks, holes,non-circular cavity have been a hot topic in mechanics and materials home and abroad, butthe papers about complex defects are few. Dynamic antiplane behaviors of the radial cracks atthe edge of the uncircular cavity are solved in piezoelectric medium and piezoelectricbimaterials. The influence produced by the join of the uncircular cavity is mainly researched in thepaper,in order to provide some theoretical basis for engineering design.First of all, based onthe method of conformal mapping, the displacement Green functions and the electric potentialGreen function which are suitable for the present problem are constructed the crack-divisiontechnique. The compound defect of the uncircular cavity with interface crack is constructedaccording to the conjunction method. Based on Green’s functions which are agreed with theboundary conditions, a pair of the first kind of Fredholm integral equations for solutions canbe established. And the integral equations are solved by the direct numerical integrationmethod. At the same time dynamic stress intensity factor (DSIF) will be solved. And then, some examples and the related literature were compared in order to prove the correctness ofthis method. The range of error should be within the allowable range. Finally, the numericalresults reveal the effects of the length of the crack, the uncircular cavity radius, the incidentwave frequency and the material parameters on dynamic stress intensity factors of thecrack-tip. It can be concluded that the values of radial crack-tip DSIFs on a circular cavityaren’t invariably less then those on a reduced straight crack with an effective length at thedynamic situation. The oscillating phenomenon can be seen around the straight crack DSIFs.
