Digital holography using the CCD(Charge-coupled Device) instead of the traditionalsilver plate to record the hologram, realized a totally digitalized holographic process ofrecording, storing and reconstruction. It opens a new door for the development andapplication of holography. Because of its advantages, digital holography has attracted lots ofattention from the worldwide researchers. It has a great application prospect in many fields, such as shape measurement, microcircuit examination, cells observation, etc.In this thesis, the development and research situation of digital holography areintroduced. The principle of holography is introduced in details. Comparative analyses onin-line and off-axis digital holography are made. Several methods for reconstruction andsuppression of unwanted dc and negative-order diffractive waves are detailed analyzed. Andwe focus our research on dual planes method and compressive holography.Dual planes method is a new method proposed by Zhang Yan et al. In this method, onlytwo holograms are required to eliminate the conjugate image. And this technique can beemployed for real-time imaging, it has a great application prospect. Compressive holographyis a method which applies the compressive sensing in holography. The conjugate image canbe eliminated effectively with this method. In this thesis, reconstruction is numericallysimulated with both two methods based on Matlab. And the results are analyzed. Real digitalholograms recorded in optical experiments are reconstructed with these two methods, andgood results are achieved.
