The offshore areas is the only junction of marine systems, land systems and atmosphericsystems.That is an area of most intense human activity,Also the protection of the marineenvironment is an important zone.Suspended sediment concentration is one of the important parameters of the investigatednear-shore marine water quality,Research near coastal suspended sediment spatialdistribution,Including level distribution and vertical distribution,that is very Significance toCoastal water quality conditions, the evolution of the near-shore geological andgeomorphological and evolution of the hydrological ecological environment.Survey methods of traditional suspended sediment point by point sampling,Slow,longperiod, the coverage is small, the lack of control over the entire area.Remote sensing (RS)technology can overcome these shortcomings,convenient,fast,accurate access to the oceansuspended sediment data, dynamic real-time monitoring of waters.At present, remote sensingtechnology has become an important technical means for ocean color research.This paper carry out field spectral measurements of Caofeidian, and measured suspendedsediment concentration data.Based on this work, using Landsat TM remote sensing data,According to the TM satellite sensor band characteristics,Study the statistical relationshipbetween water surface suspended sediment concentration and the reflectance of the targetband center wavelength remote sensing.achieving the Remote sensing of suspended sedimentconcentration in the study area near the coast by a mathematical model.And further study ofsuspended sediment concentration between the surface with Middle and bottom layersstatistical relationship.and deducing The surface of the suspended sediment inversion resultsto the middle and bottom.To conduct an overall study of the study area from the vertical,Tomaster the study area suspended sediment distribution law, and to estimate the total seasediment of the study area.The work carried out by the above and the conclusions,Provide parameters for the regionthe interaction between port construction and the suspended sediment transport,and thenumerical simulation of marine hydrodynamic environment.But also for the region’seconomic development and environmental protection to provide a scientific basis for decisionmaking.
