With the development of society and economy, urban type forest will play animportant role more and more, such as maintaining urban of sustainabledevelopment and improve urban ecological environment, ect.urban type forest is thekey components of urban ecological ecosystem.It is important that we researchbiodiversity on urban type forest,specially urban natural reserve, and master itscurrent development change, which has important theoretical significance andpractical significance for biodiversity conservation, ecological restoration,strcucture adjustmnet and providing the scientific basis for sustainabledevelopment.This paper detailed reports typiacl vegetation status and ecologicalfunction in Labagoumen and Songshan natural reserve:1. To quantitatively characterize plant community structure and composition ofmain vegetation types long two altitudinal transects on mountains of northwestern Beijing, China. By based on investigation plot data and each synusia advantage speci-es, the vegetation of nature reserve is divided into4vegetation group,5vegetationtype and22association.22plots were surveyed, including20tree plots and2shurbplots. In each tree plot, a treequardrat (20×20m~2)was sampled. In both tree plot a-nd shurb plot, four shrub quadrats (4×4m~2)and five herb quadrats(1×1m~2)were s-ampled. For tree quadrat, each tree species with the height more than3m was mea-sured individually for its diameter at breast height, tree height and abund-ance. Forshurb and herb quadrats, plant cover, abundance and height were measured. We qu-antitatively characterized22plant associations.For example Pinus tabulaeformis–Vitex negundo-Artemisia sacrorum、Quercus mongolica-Spiraea pubescens-Artemisia sacrorum、Populus davidiana-Corylus heterophylla-Poa annua、Betulaplatyphylla-Corylus mandshurica-Aquilegia yabeana;2.Based on22plant associations,we use photosynthesis ability index, droughtresistance index, impoverishment resistance index, resistance fire index, stand hightemperature ability idex, resistance foreign species invasion index, resistance trampling index in order to evaluate the structure of typical vegetation communitiesin natural reserve.The result is that different plant associations have effect on thedifferent type of interference index. The high index of resistance fire is Larixprincipis-rupprechtii-Humulus scandens and Quercus mongolica-Spiraeapubescens-Artemisia sacrorum, but the index of resistance foreign speciesinvasion is high too;3.Based on water conservation value,soil and water conservation value,carbonfixation and oxygen release value,purification atmosphere value,forest growthvalue and tourism relax value,we evaluate forest ecological service function valueof Labagoumen and songshan natural reserve in2010.The result is that total value is48,713.48×104yuan in2010,Labagoumen and songshan natural reserve.
