It’s become the important geological disasters of cityconstruction. At present, Xi’an is in economic rapid development period, all kinds of majorconstruction project in which the building under construction, such as xi ’an undergroundrailway construction, three, four, five and six line is building. This linear engineering throughthe ground fissures inevitably.This paper in the full collection the information and research results of Xi’an groundfissures, based on the investigation on the ground, the site of drilling, in laboratory test,numerical simulation and comprehensive analysis as main means, researching the Xi’anground fissures fracture behaviour near the surface soil and provide the scientific basis forXi’an city construction.First of all, this paper through the collect the relevant research materials of Xi’an groundfissures, describes geological environmental background of Xi’an ground fissures, distributionand activity characteristic. The profile combination characteristics show that ground fissureshave activity rate uniformity, the inheritance, the periodicity, the intermittent and the influenceof human activity etc.Secondly, through the ground fissures investigation and the site drilling to analysis thecorresponding relation about the Xi’an ground fissures exposed characteristics in the surfaceand underground. And find that the ground fissures in the surface of the exposed position anddrilling revealed concealed position not consistent. Through the triaxial compression testresults and soil fracture mechanics analyzed the ground fissures fracture behaviour nearsurface soil.Finally, through the Midas software finite element numerical simulation, explore theground fissures exposed position, influence range and break situation in the surface, researchthe ground fissures fracture behavior near the surface soil.
