Xi’an ground fissure is a kind of regional geo-hazards which damage to various types ofengineering and construction, transportation facilities, urban lifeline engineering and landresources, and it already has been brought huge economic losses within decades to Xi’anurban construction and inconvenience to people. At present, Xi’an is building the subway thatwill pass through several ground fissures, and the ground fissure activities will bring someadversely affects to subway construction and safe operation.First, obtained the results of two groundwater level differences of the Xi’an groundfissures by sorting the survey data of the Xi’an subway line from no.1to no.5.there are threekinds, to crack the two groundwater level higher in the south than the north, to crack twogroundwater level no evident difference between each other, to crack the groundwater levelhigher in the north than the south, this paper focuses on the cause of the first one.Secondly, given the existence of the phenomenon of the two water level difference of theground fissures, to further identify its cost after the project design and construction to providea scientific reference, author have done a hydro-geological experiments in the subway linethrough the f3to crack segment, and obtained pumping hole2and pumping Hole3’sdrawdown curve which shows the crack prevent two submersible flow to each other. Finally, this paper calculates the first case by seepage calculation, and at the same timemakes a numerical simulation analysis the first case which ground water level higher in thesouth plate than the north’s. The conclusion is that the smaller the permeability coefficient ofthe crack is, the more impact on groundwater flow to another plate, and which results in thegroundwater level difference between both sides of the crack.
