Research On The Loess Slope-Landscape Based On DEM

Slope is the basic elements that form the land surface. The variety of the landform can be seemed as the variety of the slope characteristic and the combination among different slope. From the landscape ecology review, it is a new quantitative analysis on loess plateau landform that considers the different slope as different landscape element. This paper references the theory of landscape ecology and ecology, selects Shanbei loess plateau as study area and high resolution DEMs as basic data, then object oriented method was used to extract the slope elements. This paper analyzes the spatial pattern of the slope landscape and the landscape process. The main work of this paper can be summarized as following.1) This paper introduced the basic method that extract the slope landscape element based on DEMs, and this study put forward a method to select proper scale parameter in the extraction process.2) This paper select typical landscape index to analysis the slope landscape pattern, the result shows that indexes of landscape-level and patch-level represent different variation among different study areas.3) This paper constructs the slope type combination curve (STC-curve), and studies the relationship between the quantitative index of the STC-curve and the landform development process.4) Based on the4TLQC, the spatial distribution patterns of different slope were analyzed. The analysis result shows that different slope type show different relationship model, and there are three relationship models in all, positive correlation, negative correlation, and the correlation vary as the increase of analysis scale.5) Take the simulation watershed as study object, this paper studies the variety of the slope landscape in the landform development process, and the regularity of the transformation from each slope to the other types. And this paper also build up the slope landscape transformation model based on Markov Model, the accuracy test shows that it is feasible to construct the loess landform evolution model from the perspective of slope landscape.
