Along with the development of recent decades, the reservoir modeling technology hasbecome a Important technology. In today’s reservoir descirption, il occupies an importantposition^it is an important component. It can achieve fine reservoir descirption and modelling,also can characteirze quantitatively and descirbes reservoir heterogeneity,to study theuncertainty in oil and gas exploration and development.The normal reservoir modeling method use well log data to model. It only utilize logdata to make models. Such modeling results can’t depict faithfully geological heterogeneity,uncertainty and structural, so there was a reservoir modeling method constrained by seismicdata. It can make log data and the seismic data together to play to their respective features,and ifnally can get high accuracy of reservoir physical parameters. It has many kinds ofmethods, Geostatisties inversion method is one king of reservoir modeling methodsconstrained by seismic data. This paper studies the Geostatistics inversion method of thepirnciple, the process, implementation and attirbutes of the inversion results. The lastresearch application of Geostatistics inversion in reservoir modeling. This paper mainlystudies the content as follows:1.This paper is based on the basic theory of reservoir modeling. The normal reservoirmodeling method and the reservoir modeling method constrained by seismic data arecompared. The paper clarifies the background and the method of reservoir modelingconstrained by seismic data.2.This paper focus on the Geostatistics inversion of the principle,the process,implementation and attirbutes of the inversion results,3.In studying the realization of inversion algoirthm, detailedly study the selection ofwavelet convolution, convolution process, and the simulation results of the selection,4.Use domestic a oil ifeld of the velocity and density logging data, hoirzon data, theoirginal seismic amplitude data, using Geostatistics inversion method to model in the studyarea. Finally, simulation to get through any two of the well Rl,R2, R3of wave impedancesection, simulation amplitude section, and real seismic profile and amplitude section arecompared. Through the change of the gird size, search algorithm radius parameters, obtained the different simulation ersults, the impact of different parameter are also studied.The results of the study show that: Geostatistics inversion is a kind of random reservoirsimulation sequential method constrained by seismic data. This method can better descirptionof reservoir geologic condition, reduce the uncertainty of modeling result,so as to effectivelyguide the exploitation of oil and gas ifelds.
