Finite-Difference Time-Domain Method is one of the most important methods,which has been widely used in electromagnetisms. This method plays an important rolein the field of radio wave propagation, microwave device design, radar technology,electromagnetic imaging, underground electromagnetic target detection, electromagn-etic compatibility, nondestruction disease examination and light communication etc.This method is a common method, many kinds software can be developed with thismethod. During the developing of software, the techniques used to visualize thecalculated result are very important.In this paper, the FDTD method is introduced firstly, and then some importantwidows programming skills are briefly descripted, such as the message drivenprinciple, the multithread and thread synchronization technique, dynamic link librarytechnique and bitmap etc. Then the bitmap is used to build2D FDTD discrete modeland implement a real time visualization method. Scattering simulation software isdeveloped with the MFC technique and FDTD method. The software is used to analyzethe2D regular and complex objects. Based on Win32SDK and FORTRANprogramming language, a calculation system which can be used to calculate thescattering of complex metal and plasma objects is developed. The scattering crosssection of3D complex objects and compound objects are analyzed with the software.
