PlantcelluloseisthemostplentifulrenewableresourcesontheEarth. The utilization of cellulosic materials is an effective way to solve the scantyenergy resource and eco-environment deterioration. The procedure of cellulosedegrading is catalyzed by cellulase system which is produced by microorganism.Rumen could degrade cellulose through microorganism. So the rumen is a greatlibrary of cellulose-degradation bacteria. In this study we made cellulose as the solo carbon source to screencellulose-degradation bacteria. Then we measured the activity of cellulase fromthem. finally we composited microbial system through mixed culture. The resultsare as follows:(1)We screened23strains which could degrade cellulose. then the six strainwith the higher activity of cellulase were identificatd of Mycobacterium speciesthrough16S rDNA and confirmed that they were belong to five different genera.(2)One of those bacteria were cultured by cellulose to produce alkalinitysubstance, and the other strains’ metabolic products were acidic.(3) Using those strains to degrade filter paper, we found that CF04coulddegrade the filter paper completely within5days.(4) Using mixed pairwise culture of those7strains to degrade the filter paperonly the CF04+ET-5can shorten the procedure.
