With the enhanced awareness of disaster prevention, area rainfall forecasts notonly increasing became the major concerned, but also an important referencemeteorological part provided decision-making forecasts. Paying attention to aprecipitation, at the same time will focus on the whole basin precipitation, which is onthe area rainfall forecast put forward higher requirements. In order to improve thetechnical level of area rainfall forecast in Hainan as this thesis research focus, analysisstatus of the Hainan Island River Valley area rainfall forecast system, based on avariety of numerical forecast products, using dynamic weights of building HainanIsland river area rainfall forecasting system design. The main contents as follows:1. To analyze of Hainan Island topography by Microsoft Visual Basic andMapInfo, classified forecast basin will Hainan Island three large rivers in the terrain isdivided into seven small drainage areas, convenient method of Area RainfallCalculation choice.2. To analyze method of area rainfall calculation, selection of suitable methods ofHainan Island. According to the classified forecast basin, Combined with theadvantages and disadvantages of Area Rainfall Calculation Method, a good division inseven small watersheds was used in two kinds of calculation methods, namely theselection of triangle method to calculate the upstream surface rainfall, choose thearithmetic average method of area rainfall in the middle and lower reaches of. Designby Compaq Visual Fortran.3. To analyze of9kinds of numerical forecast precipitation products nearly30day forecast quality, according to their accuracy to determine its opposite rainfallforecast contribution strength, using dynamic weighting method choice product results,and design by Compaq Visual Fortran. Dynamic weighting method overcomesnumerical forecast product dependence, reasonable use of the numerical forecast sinceclose period of time on the precipitation forecast contribution.4. To analyze of area rainfall forecasting system, proposed in the meteorologicalservice network environment was established under the Hainan Island River Valley area rainfall forecast system and method, using more languages just as Compaq VisualFortran6, Microsoft Visual Basic6.0and MapInfo. The system integrates real-timemeteorological data acquisition, data quality control, model of numerical forecastproducts acquisition analysis, dynamic weight calculation, and the results show that theoutput of area rainfall forecast in one, the block design, embodies a concentratedreflection of manner, the completion of the Hainan Island River Valley area rainfallforecast system design and implementation.
