In modern times, as the growing industrialization, the ecological system is seriously damaged, so one of the pressing problem facing our world today is how people can live with nature and environment harmoniously. In such circumstances, low-carbon life, low-carbon economy are put on the agenda, meanwhile, the concept of "Nature as Teacher" become more and more important in bionic design. The concept of "Nature as Teacher" is the source of modern bionic design. As we all know, function is the foundation for design, and only start from the foundation and standing on the perspective of it to perceive the world, can we find the essence of nature. This is the whole process of bionic design of the low-carbon level. This paper intends to re-understand the bionic design from the perspective of low-carbon and propose a new concept for it, and ultimately interpret the new concept through a conceptual product. This paper analyzes the status of the bionic design and the air quality situation, then, by using the methods of market researching and chart analyzing, the paper obtains the main reasons of common failings for current designs, meanwhile, some reasons for the poor air quality situation are also reached, consequently, a conceptual product is designed to resolve the above common failings. To sum up, this paper analyzes the bionic design process in the level of low carbon and the self-expression of the products in different stages of the process, as well as the integration degree with nature. As a result, a more effective way for bionic design is reached, so that the relationship between product-people-nature is more harmonious, and only in this way,the product can really be an integral part of nature.
