With the demand of the construction in marine geograpnic environment mounting, how tobuild high-precision, high-resolution seabed DEM has been a bottleneck problem faced by theGIS scholars. Direct at the point that the original depth of the ocean is always multi-sourcedand heterogeneous, plus that there is always a difference between seabed terrain and land terrain,this paper raised a seabed terrain building technology consists of constrained Delaunayconstructing, isobath automatic tracking, dynamic distance weighted fitting, product qualityevaluating and so on. And around these technologies, this paper mainly has these contents andinnovations as follows.Firstly, this paper analyzed the research purpose and importance of seabed DEMconstruction, existing problems, as well as the mentalities, approaches, and methods to resolvethese problems.Secondly, this paper mainly kept its eyes on preprocessing of the seabed DEM original data.It studied the codes and standards, basic indicators, material selection, ways of data acquisition,contents of data acquisition and data accuracy. Besides, this paper expatiated suchpreprocessing technology as neaten, string off, checking, mortgaging of the water depth data.Thirdly, this paper consist another very important aspect called the realization of the seabedDEM construction. Considering that there is always a difference between seabed terrain andland terrain, it raised a seabed terrain building technology consists of constrained Delaunayconstructing, isobath automatic tracking, dynamic distance weighted fitting, product qualityevaluating and so on.Fourthly, this paper designed a seabed DEM construction prototype system, and took it intoreality. First of all, it showed the made up of the system, and then prove the research resultthrow its accomplishments.Last but not least, this paper concluded the fore works, pointed out that there are still someproblems existed, and outlook the next research direction and contents.
