At present, the land has become an increasingly scarce and more valuable resources. The sustainable use of land resources, especially to increase the development and utilization of unused land, has become the focus of all levels of government on land‐use planning studiescontent. Salinization of the land is a worldwide problem facing humanity, the land salinization serious damage to the natural environment for human survival, resulting in the loss of a large area of land resources, a direct threat to the ecological, economic and social sustainable development.With the extensive application of remote sensing technology in the field of land and resources, remote sensing data of multi‐band and multi‐temporal has been used in the saline‐alkali soil monitoring and research. Using remote sensing technology in land salinization Monitoring, through the features of remote sensing,such as the macro, comprehensive, dynamic and real‐time, you can be more objective, rapid and effective access to land salinization, and thus the analysis of saline‐alkali soil trends and their impact factors,then to provide scientific data basis for the saline‐alkali soil remediation planning.It has a very important practical significance.In this paper, a method of combining remote sensing technology with GIS, select distribution of saline is more concentrated in western Jilin,10districts (counties) as a planning remediation research area, including: SPOT5BJ‐1data for remote sensing data, making research area remote sensing image;the establishment of research in saline interpretation of remote sensing flag, and using the interpretation signs of saline‐alkali extract soil salinization information; from the area of the saline‐alkali soil, distribution and salinization,that ways to interpret the results of reasons for the formation of the saline‐alkali soil of the study area; with appropriate saline‐alkali soil remediation planning measures. Through the above study, to obtain the following results and conclusions:1).through the use of remote sensing processing software such as ERDAS, ENVI, in the research area of SPOT5, BJ‐1remote sensing images were orthorectified, colored and mosaiced processing, covering the whole region as a unit to the IMG file of the county jurisdiction, including the Daan city of white City, Zhenlai, Tongyu County, Taonan and Taobei area;Songyuan City ’s Qianguo, Changling County and Qiangan County; Shuangliao City of Siping City;Nong’an of Changchun City;about10districts (counties).2).The combination of study area and SOPT5and BJ‐1data imaging modalities, establish the research in saline interpretation of remote sensing flag categories, including mild, moderate and severe saline‐alkali soil and waters, and other non‐saline‐alkali soil. Reference to the interpretation signs, the use of human‐computer interaction interpreted, we extracted the mild, moderate and severe saline‐alkali soil, and filled the relevant attribute information.Obtained in the study area of saline land totaling5668.13km2,the mild saline area of175.55km2, moderate saline‐alkali land area of1486.16km2the most severe saline‐alkali soil, area of4006.43km2.3).Interpreted results summary analysis, reveal the current alkaline status of Jilin west about, saline‐alkali soil area, space, distribution and quality grade. Including:(1) Research in saline mainly distributed in low altitudes less than200m plain area, to Changling arc with sand on the line as the boundary, the low plains in the north of the line in saline was concentrated into a film distribution of the state, south of this line,also saline‐alkali land distribution, but often isolated and scattered like distribution and smaller. In addition, saline lake bubble, the village edges annular features.(2) The study area counties (districts) saline‐alkali soil are in severe saline‐alkali land‐based, followed by moderate saline‐alkali soil, only a very small amount of mild saline‐alkali soil distribution. Tongyu County and Da’an city saline land area of over1000km2and; the second is Zhenlai, saline area of849.70km2.(3) Research in saline remediation potential partition: three potential areas are mainly distributed in Zhenlai, Daan, Tongyu County, Dry County, Changling County and Shuangliao bring to the longitudinal axis of the vertical; northwest of Nong’an ans Central also a small amount of the distribution. The second potential areas are mainly distributed in eastern Zhenlai southern Taobei, QIANGUO northern, the Nong’an southwest, Taonan and Changling County local also distributed. The rest is the first potential area.(4) Combined with the specific circumstances of the study area, considering the topography, geographical location, socio‐economic level of development and other factors, to determine saline focus remediation area, in the area the saline area is5449.63km2, accounting for96.15%of the total area of the province saline. Changling County, Dry County and the Taonan area, focusing on remediation area counties (districts) are distributed, Tongyu County and Daan city’s share of the largest in more than1000km2; followed by400‐600km2of area between.4).On the basis of the more well‐studied, combined with the saline‐alkali soil genesis of the study area, considering the natural, economic and other circumstances of the study area, according to local conditions with suitable saline planning remediation measures, including adapted to local conditions, zoning regulation; to key projects construction as the core, driven by the saline‐alkali soil remediation; development of circular economy, and actively promoting the industrialization development of saline‐alkali soil resources; rely on science and technology, vigorously carry out the saline‐alkali soil remediation research and development of new technologies.
